Foray into the medical establishment

Guiseppe/Joseph

addie, welcome to the walk-in clinic!

Mom got a gold star on her blood work today!
Three generations of injury
This is my appointment, right?

Well, Addie under seige indeed.  We finally decided that her pain and swelling wasn't decreasing enough, so we hauled our posse into the walk-in care center in Florence. Mom happened to have a blood work appointment, so she joined us for our mammoth wait.  Joseph admitted Addie in and gave us a choice 3PM appointment.  He gave me big props for the Ironman thing, and we quickly established connection since he knows Kris, the greentrees marathoner (of course).  When we were in the patient room, I started to mess around with my knee and Ashby was the one to point out that

"everybody in the room has an injury except for me."
Upshot? It's called a green stick fracture, or the Doc also called it a wrinkle.  Anyway, it's basically a fracture that has already begun healing, so there's no need for  a cast or anything else.  Now we can relax and go sandboarding and hope for the best.
