Then I met a guy who was touring from Portland to Eugene via the coast. We had a great chat. Really seemed like a young Mark L. to me....I may be obsessed, but by the time we parted ways I realized that not only did i forget to take a picture of his rig, but i forgot to tell him about my blog. As Peter says: it's all about the traffic! Oh well.....we did ride past the clamdiggers, and I couldn't help thinking to myself, if only everyone had to work this hard to get shellfish, then maybe there would still be seafood to eat in another 30 years, alas.
